I just finished reading up on Florida's concealed firearm laws and self defense laws. And I must say that I approve, except for one little thing that isn't THAT big of a deal. I'm going there this weekend to spend some time on the beach. It'll be nice to get away, and I'm glad I won't have to leave the 1911 behing...probably wouldn't be going if that was the case, but Florida and Alabama have reciprocity so it's all good.
I'm looking forward to being down there, mostly because of who I'll be with. I can't wait to watch a sunrise and sunset on the beach. And sit out on the beach at night and listen to the waves crashing against the shore. It's been at least ten years since I was on the beach. It's going to be sweet!
