So, I've had to discover some inexpensive ways to keep myself entertained this weekend since this past ween was a lean one in the money department. I've spent most of my free time reading or watching movies. I've made it through the entire Lord of the Rings special extended editions. That was a lot of fun. I've also alomst completed Time Enough For Love by Robert Heilein. For some reason I'm not reading as fast as I used too.
I zeroed my hunting rifle yesterday to 25 yards. That's my hunting zero, although I really want to do some 100+ yard shooting. It was off just a little bit from last year so it only took about seven shots. I need to practice more with it but 7mm Remington Magnum is over a dollar around, so practice is expensive. It's still a lot of fun to shoot though.
I went and did a little grocery shopping today. That wasn't much fun, but it killed some time. I'll get paid again Thursday and that will be both my final pay from WalMart and a full week's pay from the new job. WalMart should be paying out my vacation time, so hopefully I'll get that too. We'll see how it works. A big paycheck would be really nice.

Are you going to still-hunt, or use treestands? I now have 8 treestands...and no where to hang them. I know that if I am home long enough to scout some stuff next year they will see some use for whitetails, but this year I will be hunting mule deer with a rifle since those areas are the only ones I have had a chance to dig into while I've been home (and I don't have the motivation or time to try and bowhunt a mule deer this year).
