Just got back from spending and awesome weekend with my girlfriend. I wrote her a dirty, dirty letter Saturday night and she was quite pleased with it so we had to act a little bit of it out, but we've still got a lot to go!

Sunday I went with her to do some shopping for things she needed around her new apartment. She bought a new desk that weighs a fucking ton. We got it mostly put together and I decided to take a mental health day from work with the excuse that I'd hurt my back lifting the desk. Fuck'em if they can't take a joke.

This morning her sister brought over her niece and we took her swimming. Usually the kid stays as far from me as possible but she wanted to go in the deep end and I'm the only one tall enough to keep her above the water over their so I became her new best friend for a little while. She's a cutie and she had a lot of fun, even if it did wear me out it was worth it.

So now I think I broil in the Alabama heat for a little while and then take a nap before work.
