So, I went shooting yesterday because it's been forever and I started getting twitchy to pull a trigger. Anyway, it was fun but it was made clear to me by my less than spectular performance that I've not been shooting enough lately. I need more range time, which means I need more money, which probably ain't going to happen easily or quickly.
My short term solution is going to be to sell my HK P2000sk (put it on consignment yesterday at ATI Pistol Range). I'm going to use the proceeds, if the damn thing sells, to buy some reloading equipment and a yearly membership at ATI so I don't have to pay daily range fees.
Speaking of ATI, I found out yesterday that they are expanding and will some time in the near future have a rifle range. I'm really, really, really looking forward to that as I enjoy rifle shooting as much as pistol shooting, if not more, and I don't get nearly as many opportunities to do it now that both of my semi-private redneck rifle ranges have been sold.
Oh, been thinking of buying one of these rifle stocks for my Mini-14 just for shits and giggles:
And I'm expecting one of these to be shipped from Galco within the week:
My girlfriend bought me the holster for Christmas. It was on back order and should have shipped out on Dec. 31, but it got pushed back again to mid-Jan. due to 'production problems.' If it gets pushed back again I swear I'll write them a sternly worded letter and demand...well, fuck...I really want that holster. Maybe just a discount?
