so as you can see above, this past year hasn't been much different form the last. But such is life. I am beginning the think that world events are cyclical instead of linear. Someone told me that is a very chinese way of thinking...which is odd because I don't know any chinese people...well i knew one chinese girl...she was cute..I-ning...but that was 20 years ago. And I am waay off point.

Anyway, new birthday and a new decade of age. I read in a magazine that 40 is the new 30. I read in a different magazine that 30 is the new black. So i'm guessing 40 is the new black by association which doesn't seem all that new to me since every 40 year old I know recieved black things for their 40th birthday (standard gag implying death and mourning at the loss of youth i suppose).
