The one thing I always liked about Today is the Day is that their albums were never really the greatest recording quality. Some of the stuff, recording wise, that I've heard Steve Austin do for other bands is just excellent -- yet he always kept his own stuff really raw sounding.

The fact that my walkman has become my stereo these days makes me feel that much more "punk rock" listening to poorly recorded stuff.

Oh yeah -- your posting has me jealous that you don't have to work today (or that you had a day off like nine days ago).

Oh man! I see that coldenginelogic is grey! I just finally got a chance to meet him recently. That stinks. If all my credit cards weren't oozing I'd almost be tempted to get him back here, you know, just cuz. He seems really smart and funny.
