IMPORTANT... PLEASE READ!
Bad news this week. My best friend Teddy (some of you may know him, I know Megze does but I've been surprised at who does know him) got in a very serious motorcycle accident Sunday morning. He's pretty messed up, but the outlook is good for him to pull through, although it's not going to be an easy recovery.
First let me tell you about Teddy. He is always the first to the bar to buy a round for his friends and friends of friends, is there when I, or any of his close friends, need a hand and wraps his arm around you when he shakes your hand. A tank of a man, he'll give you a smile and a plenty long enough rope... just don't hang yourself on it. Sleep is his enemy, he'd rather work on his 53 Chevy or frankenstein Harley, hang with his friends or make a living. He's skilled at more things than most people are skilled at one. Strong as an ox and fiercely independent, for the first time, I've seen my best friend in a compromising situation, I assure you one that he wishes he wasn't in. He's under sedation with broken vertibrae, ribs, a torn off ear and a swelling brain that doesn't want to stabilize.
I don't air out much, I'm a private guy. But I'm hoping someone reads this and comes to my benefit to raise money to help pay his bills and mortgage as they are going to be astronomical and he won't be able to work for months. I never beg until now. Here are the events...

-- July 28th, Ghost Train at the Oriental Theater (44th and Tennyson) car show, See last post for info -- donations, silent auctions
-- August (8/24) Ghost Train at the Oriental Theater, 5-6 bands TBA -- full blown benefit... door, % of bar, donations, raffles, silent auctions

Poor guy. I wish him and Rachel all the best. I will come to what I can and am donating art too. I hope last night was only meager in terms of success compared to the next two! Be strong.
