Bit of confusion on the new releases this weekend.
1. The Island- looks impressive. I love Sci-Fi. Ewan and Scarlett(all pluses)-----Michael Bay-This director has pissed me off countless times. Great visual style, has no idea what a story is.
2. Bad News Bears-love the original(enough remakes already), Billy Bob rips ass when he is put into this kind of role(ala Bad Santa), love the director,Richard Linklater(can't wait for A Scanner Darkly).
3. The Devil's Rejects- I like Rob Zombie, I dig his love of horror and all things edgy. Did not like House of a 1000 Corpses. Tried to hard;piss poor "teenage" actors. Rejects looks promising though.
Maybe I will just stay home and listen to Mastodon's Leviathan over and over. Shit even Moby Dick loves this record.
