Greetings funk fans, a little excerpt action for the journal.

Just got back from watching fireflies in the mountains. They are special because they light in patterns. Apparently there are 100 males to one female in this particular species, and they cluster and light in reaction to each other, which appears as patterns to the observer, downright hallucinatory.

Amazing, one of the most beautiful, mystical things I have every seen. Clear sky, bright stars, dark ancient forest, mountain stream, sound of water and wind, thousands of glowing pixies dancing together, lighting the path through the mountains.

We await with baited breath

Cut open upon the razors edge, the truth is its own reward.

Amazed at the touch of words. A little stone send ripples through an entire lake. You just never know how big the pond is sometime.

Serendipitous we happened upon each other, making a carpe diem commitment

Truth never avoids any thought they are only thoughts

I love you. gush.It just came upon me as I finished reading.
I dont believe in death. In spirit of the real, not like Santa Claus, but like life practice.

I believe in life; the sum total of existence revealed in the capacity to love.

I do not want to be someone who is so outraged, I forget why I loved in the first place, and begin to hate my own; we are all botched and bungled.

One note of fait accompli, we are the world we make.

The question is, was it worth the fall?
sifting through our remains with a sense of wonder.
Seize life, dive in, and fucking get wet.

She is a favorite subject.

See you in the living..lol.

I haven't taken any classes on acupuncture yet, but I plan to after I go to a community college to get basic credits.
When I was in 7th grade my mom had a friend that would come to our house weekly and give me, my mom, my sis, and sometimes my brother acupuncture. I loved it. But then the woman moved and I didn't have it done until I moved to Washington 2 years ago. My mom found an acupuncturist here and I went with her twice, but I didn't like how the guy did it so I stopped going and my mom eventually did too. Then a few months ago, I went to an open house at Bastyr College with my sister. I saw that they had acupuncture courses so I sat in on the informational (whatever you want to call it) about the class. Before I went to the open house I had no real plan at all for what I wanted to do for a career, now I know.
What I say about acupunture is only what I've observed for myself and what I learned from going to the open house at Bastyr.
When I say "acupuncture" to people, many of them wince as if it's painful, but it's not. For most acupuncture points in your body, when the needle goes in, you hardly feel it (some points are a little more sensitive than others though). When you get acupuncture, the needles come with their own little tubes, individually packaged, sanitary. The needles are a tiny bit longer than the tubes they come with, the acupuncturist sets the one end of the tube with the neddle in it and the butt end of the needle sticking out of the tube a little. To insert the needle, they tap the butt end of the needle once, pretty quickly. The tip of the needle is in your skin, they toss the tube and if needed, they will carefully twist the needle a little deeper into your skin....... depending on whether you want to take bad energy out (left) or put good energy in (right). This doesn't hurt either, you hardly feel it, the needle doesn't go very far into your skin at all (but also how deep or shallow the needle goes in depends on the point and what part of your body it is, the ear points are very shallow insertions). In your ear there is a point for every organ in your body, each point does healing work on the corresponding organ. Elsewhere on the body, certain points work on that part of the body and some also connect to somewhere else on your body. Sometimes, when your body really needs the healing work at the point that a needle is, your skin will literally crawl up the base of the needle and hold onto it until it's done. I love getting acupunture, it's helped me with my neck and back allignment (after I sprained my ankle). I hope you find someone nearby who does acupuncture.
I have a question for you.... have you ever heard of Reiki (ray-key) before?
