the religious crazies in this country make me want to move away because they are doing so much more harm than good to this country. they wanna ban stem cell research, which could hold cures for paralysis and parkinsons. i dont even think these assholes know what stem cell research is. it is using an egg and a cell and making it do whatever the scientists want it to do. potentially, these would someday possibly be a baby, but they are nowhere close to being a baby. in fact, stem cells are the size of a periood at the end of a sentence in a book. how the hell does that constitute a baby? their logic is absolutely crazy. my grandmother has parkinsons and i want to help her, so i'm all for stem cell research. i'm not too fond of religion these days and what people have turned it into. not believing in homosexuals for one.....that is just out of control. if i could choose a god for this world, he'd believe in us all and wouldnt' give a shit whatsoever what sexual orientation a person was of. i can't understand it. if god created the world, then wouldnt he have created homosexuality as well? WELL??? answer me that. i just can't understand why a person who claims to have found jesus can honestly banish a person to eternal hellfire without even knowing them. i know gay people and i have gay friends and you know what? my few gay friends are some of the most genuine people i've ever met. they haven't ever done a fucking thing to anyone and how does society repay them? they put amendments on constitutions banning that person from ever becoming legally wed to the person that they choose to love.
i understand why religion exists but it has been mutated by some crazy people who were able to manipulate people into thinking what is right and wrong. they seriously make me want to live in a country that is actuallymore free than the USA. our "president" claims that he loves freedom and that he can't understand anyone who doesn't agree with the united states' freedom. well, he shoudl take a look in his fucking bathroom mirror in the morning because he will be staring eye to eye with one of the greatest freedom haters of all time.
