I am more excited than I've been in a long time. My best friend and I, are FINALLY planning our trip to Hong Kong. We should be going late this year, or early next year. My income tax return should be enough for my ticket, with a little left over. It's so nice to finally see some things in life falling into motion.

sometimes facing where we are in our life is a good thing, because it gives us the chance to make changes if we want to. so even though it may be frusterating to see where we've let ourselves be.. or what we've let ourselves get caught up in, the fact that we're almost forced to stop for a moment and reflect on ourselves and our lives... gives us the opportunity to help ourselves.

and i agree completely... the little things... the seemingly insignificant things that if you don't take the time to notice them, you'll miss them. its those very same "little things" that end up having the mose profound influences on me... because its not something that you're looking for necessarily, it just happens, for some reason, at that exact point in time.. you take notice of your surroundings and it leaves a lasting impression!

Actually, the only Mandarin I can speak is counting to eight and ordering food. 
I lived there for only three months and taught English and dance so even with classes that's the extent of it. I thought that if I could learn Russian I could learn anything, but Mandarin was sadly beyond my grasp. Good luck with it though!

So, earlier tonight I went to a animie showing at the Alamo Drafthouse Theater. My best friend was one of the voice actors, and i went up there to show some support. I also met "the Hitchhiker" from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. He was alot of fun, but really weird. It's been a crazy night!
