Many people seem to have forgotten that patriotism can involve not supporting the current regime. Patriotism is to do what's best for the nation as a people, not for the upper class, or for those who own business and industry. If shows of patriotism did not include dissension for some or all of the government's policies, we'd still be celebrating the Queen's birthday and pledging allegiance to the Union Jack. Some people need to have their eyes pried open, some people need to have their marrionette strings cut for them...
