Disappointed. Guess I should have figured as much, though.

What? A&E's Inked and Criss Angel last night.

Inked: wasn't expecting or wanting a soap-operatic reality show that are all over the channels these days. The ads didn't hint at anything like that. More like an interesting, maybe even intelligent, doc style show on tattooing. Do I want to know about the people who create and receive tattoos, yup. Do I care about the bitchy infighting between between the owners, or playing stupid tricks on 'Dizzle', nope.

Criss: really wanted to like. Thought it was going to be a more edgy, cool David Blaine. Was it, nope.Sorry, could/should be more, but it was just cheesy and poorly done. Plain and simple, for the same reasons people cooled on Blaine, people are gonna cool on Criss. Elements were interesting, bu it was all wrapped in really fake/obvious drama and obvious editing tricks. Did he think nobody would notice the jerk of the lines when he levitated or landed? I guess on the plus side, it had enough potential that I was annoyed it didn't work for me. He is interesting and cool, so it sucks the show didn't work.
