My best friend took me to a great dinner, then to the one night only Ornette Coleman concert at Massey Hall. Absolutely amazing. His son was on drums, two unbeleivable musicians on upright bass (yup, 2) then Ornette played whatever he could get his hands on.
Stunning. Awe inspiring. Poetic. And skills beyond belief.
Finished off with chocolate everything at Fran's.
Gawd I needed a night like that.
