2nd entry today--

Tonight I got to hang out with a friend who I have known for years, and we are just now becoming actual friends. I am not close to many females. I feel like some time has been wasted and she is very soon going away. It makes me sad.

Tonight I also got to hold my best friend and kiss him. He has been gone for a while and is here to visit for three days and I think he will be back here soon. I was standing on the street knowing he was almost here and he came around the corner. I dropped all of my stuff in the street when i saw him; I was so happy. He will be back soon. It makes me happy.

All of the people I really truly love, there are maybe 10 who I feel are in for the long haul, are mostly scattered about. It was strange to have such opposite ends of the spectrum meet up on the same day.

Add that to last night; and the coziness that can be found in new friends. This is my theme song of the last 24 hours; it just made me cry on the way home.

"Long afloat on ship less oceans
I did all my best to smile
'Til your singing eyes and fingers
Drew me loving to your isle
And you sang, "Sail to me, sail to me,
Let me enfold you,
Here I am, here I am
Waiting to hold you"
Did I dream you dreamed about me?
Were you hare when I was fox?
Now my foolish boat is leaning
Broken lovelorn on your rocks
For you sing, "Touch me not, touch me not,
come back tomorrow: O my heart,
O my heart shies from the sorrow"
I am puzzled as the newborn child
I am troubled at the tide:
Should I stand amid the breakers?
Should I lie with death my bride?
Hear me sing, "Swim to me, swim to me,
Let me enfold you,
Here I am, Here I am,
Waiting to hold you"
