I am FINALLY done with finals!!! School is out! Yay!! Technically, I begin class again in one week (summer school), but for now I am pleased to be done! 
So . . .it's really friggin' hot!! I am back in Modesto today (what a suprise!) and it is, as JM would so eloquently put it, hot as balls! It is no suprise to anyone that knows me at all, I pretty much hate summer time. Yup. I hate it. Perhaps if I lived further north my opinion of this blistering season would be different. Maybe one day I will have the pleasure of spending my summer months some place cooler (i.e. not in Modesto). Even mild Santa Cruz is hot. What the hell? People in SC don't typically have AC cuz of the "mild" weather thus it's hot inside and outside. I guess at least in Modesto I can bask in the glory that is AC.
Sorry about the rant. I am sure it will not be the last time I complain about summer. Bleh
Oh, but in preperation for summer I have just purchased a brand new tube of SPF 50! I am also planning to invest in a lovely parasol. It is physically impossible for me to tan, but I am an expert at horrifying sunburn!
On to other things . . . I really loved Thorn's hair in her most recent set! I want purty hair!!! Mine needs to be cut and possibly re-colored. It is looking a bit shabby these days. I have no moneys at the moment so I may try to con my lil sista in to cuttin'/dyin/ it (hint hint Hotsie!).
I am working on some new knitting today. I have known how to knit for a long time now, but I never really learned much beyond making scarves and some easy things like that. (I make a pretty mean scarf let me tell ya) I got a book to help me a long in my knitting endeavors. Wee! I'll knit something nice and toasty for the winter I am not having right now. 
Monday my bestest buddy, Kimby, is moving from San Deigo to Santa Clara!! Waaaaaaaaaay closer to me!!! So excited!!! Also, her finnish friend is coming for a visist (a whole month) in about a week! I am so excited to meet him too!
OHHHH!!! How could I forget! We finally found an apartment!! Yay! It's new and snazzy! There is a pool and spa! Oh! AND free cookies and coffee in the morning!! How cool is that!? FREE COOKIES! haha Some people ::coughcoughMATTcoughcough:: might wanna come visit me . . . I am also expecting my sister to visit. Woohoo! We move our junk on tuesday! Yippie!
