I am pretty pissed off right now and again I should not be writing in here I should be doing some homework (that is due in a few hours)! I just can't stop thinking about all the crap that is bugging me so I thought I might as well rant a bit and then get down to work.
So, I want to kick my housemate right in her face. I live with 4 other people (Lauren, Em, Val, and Shira) in a 4 bedroom house. 3 of us have our own room and two people share (val and Lauren). Lauren, Em, and I have been slowly becoming more and more annoyed by Val. Shira not so much, but that is mostly because she is almost never home. Em has been pissed at Val for a long time, but that dates back to when they lived together a few years back. Lately, Lauren and I are pissed at her too. She treats us all as though we are children and cannot possibly function without her constantly nagging us to do things. We are all over 21 and have been taking care of ourselves just fine for quite some time now I don't know why she thinks we are all incapable.
She is also very strange about money issues. She called a house meeting last night to tell us our water bill had gone up a WHOLE $7!! Oh my fucking GOD! Not a whole $7!!! The water bill is nearly $90 a month on average split between 5 people. $7 is really not that much more. However, Val flipped out and told us all we need to cut down on our water use. Now, we don't really do much with water here anyway. We all shower, wash dishes by hand, and occasionally wash our clothes. None of us washes the cars or waters the lawn/plants. None of us is using an abnormal amount of water. I am all for water conservation, but I am also not an idiot. She tells us we need to get wet in the shower, turn of the water to soap up, then rinse it off. Who does that?! I don't, Lauren doesn't, and suprise suprise neither does Val!! Lauren and I both listened to her shower this morning and noted the water never turned off at any point along the way to allow Val to soap up as she had instructed us to do.
Even before the house meeting Val called last night Lauren and I were talking about how bothered we are by her actions and general mood. Val has been putting off her work (as all of us in my house have done) and when she does this she becomes very unhappy. She generally makes herself sick and then complains to no end about how shitty things are for her. I find this very annoying. We all have shit to do and if we put it off we know it was our fault and we just have to deal with it. Val on the other hand, treats the rest of us like crap. I am sorry, but we deserve a little more respect. Just before the house meeting last night I was knitting and Val was sitting on the couch and she said she should yell for Shira. Then she asked me if Shira was on line (mind you, Shira's room is like maybe 10' away). As I said, I was currently knitting and not staring at my laptop so Em just said "Why don't you just get her Val?" Then Val stood up fast threw a pillow and said "Maybe I didn't want to fucking get up!" She continued to be a pissy butthead for the rest of the night until she finally went to bed.
As soo and she left, Lauren and I began apartment hunting. I know it would probably make some sense to talk to Val about why we are so upset with her, but at the same time I'd rather just move out when Em leaves (she is graduating early) and JM shows up. Grrrr this whole thing is making me mad!
I should really be thinking about my paper. I have to write a paper for my Women's Lives class. It is an open ended essay so I can choose to write about whatever I want. I hate this sort of essay because I have no idea what to write about. That is a little too open ended for my liking. I can write anything about women . . .
In other news, Thor smells pretty horrible. He farts quite a lot these days and his farts smell evil. How can such a small cat make such a huge stink?
Anyway, the time is 1:00 pm and the paper is due at 5 so I best get a move on. I shall go aquire some coffee for the task. I wish I was done with all this so I could just focus on being excited about going to Europe very soon.

Yea we should hang out some time next quarter since finals and all are coming up and having to go home, I won't be able to soon.
I was just a trannie. I ran around and sat with people in the crowd and did call lines.
We have another show coming up in Winter quarter! Usually we only put it on Fall and Spring. This year we're doing Fall Winter and Spring!!
