I am having a bit of a boring saturday night, but that's alright with me. I am a little sick so just sort of resting feels good. I am also pretty tired for some reason (staying up too late? being sick? school?).
Well, it was the first rain of the season this last wednesday. The tradition here at UCSC is that everyone runs naked around the campus on the night of the first rain. I wasn't really planning on being on campus that night, but I happened to be waiting for the bus for a very long time after my evening class (more than an hour! grrrr). Em and I saw the stampede to nekkid people. It was certainly an interesting experience! There were way more guys than gals out for the run. I saw waaaaay more wang than I ever cared to that night! The boobies were very underrepresented (which did not suprise me)! I was not about to whip off my clothes and help out. Something about tons of wet, cold, naked, running men just doesn't make me wanna be nude . . .
In even cooler new I BOOKED MY FLIGHT TO GERMANY!!! I am so excited to be spending my winter in Europe (Germany, Finland, etc)!! I need to shop for some very WARM clothing haha It will be awesome to spend Xmas with my fiance! IN EUROPE!
My computer hates me and I have no idea how to fix it . . .
My housemates and I really need to decide on our Halloween costumes and get them! We're all going to a costume party next friday (the 13th!) so we need costumes before then. I am sort of hoping for Alice in Wonderland.
Oh! Lauren got the 1st season of Sailor Moon so she and I have been watching it. It is the Japanese one so we have to use subtitles, but it is not cut for American TV so it's much snazzier. Lauren suggested we go as the sailor scouts for halloween. She said I can be Sailor Moon (I make good, annoying, high-pitched noises!). We shall see . . .
I think I am going to watch a movie with Val now. Ciao
