Yay. I had an awesome weekend! I spent much of the weekend hanging out with my sister, actually. On friday, we went on a walk all around corvallis. After that, I went over to Slie's house. A bunh of us got together to drink wine and watch movies. We ended up watching Baseketball (funny as always) and Gummo, which was very odd, and definitely disturbing. I haven't been so bothered by a movie in a long, long time. I think it was a very good movie, but I would be just as happy to never see it again. I feel the same way about movies like American History X.
Yesterday I went to the craft circle, and then bummed around downtown with my sister. I got a ticket to Nina Hagen, so I'm going to go play in Portland with Slie. So I got dinner with my sister my sister, and then I went to the amadan show, which was great! After that i headed back to a friends, and we watched My Own Private Idaho. I hadn't seen it before, and i was well and goodly impressed. I loved how the dialogue contrasted with the story and imagery, and the way they presented the sex scenes was really unique, i thought. Today was much better though. I may be buying a car! I found what looks like a sweet deal on a jetta, and my family is willing to give me a loan so i can actually pay for it on my terms. I'm going to try to check it out tomorrow. I also made some progress with cute shopper boy! We had the compulsory chat about my computer, and computers in general, and although i didn't exactly ask him out, because he is so loaded with school right now, his response was pretty positive. Yay!!! Good good times. I'm so stoked!

I just got back from Ben's. After I wrote the above, I ended up chatting with him via IM. He invited me over to watch the rest of Vanilla Sky. I liked it, it was really interesting watching the main character try to separate reality from fantasy. Judging from Ben's behavior, I could have gotten some booty, and i thought about it, but I managed to deflect his intentions without upsetting him. Ben's cute and all, but I'd just feel kinda skeezy sleeping with someone while I'm trying to get to know someone else. At the same time, I feel like an ass, because I feel like I'm making Ben my back-up lay. I've know Ben for over two years, so I'm also wondering why he's just now noticing me, and not earlier on, when I had a crush on him. I really have hope that the whole thing works out amicably, because i want to stay friends.
I've been noticing a change lately, in myself and the way others relate to me. About three weeks ago, i started walking around on my breaks at work, and since then I've lost some weight, gained a lot of energy, and had a much brighter outlook on things in general. I think other people see the change too, because people have been a lot nicer and friendlier. I'm really excited. I feel like things may actually be starting to go my way.
Last bit of news": I'm probably shaving my head ths weekend. Nina wants to do it, so we can be buzzed for st pats at Kells in portland. I'm getting stoked, i really like having a buzzed head. Well, goodnight.
