...And a week later, I'm finally back online. It's time to get digital cable in the apartment. So, it's my birthday, I've been up since 5:40 am, and it hasn't been pretty. But hopefully the day will get better. The last couple of birthdays I've had haven't been great, so here's to hoping. It is a beautiful day out, after all.

Life is busy, can't wait until the end of August when it calms down again. Then, I will clean the apartment, put away the boxes, and finally have a "house-warming" party. And some of you will have to come.

Funny story for those of you who know - the man picked me up from work the other night and on the way home, I picked up some trash that was in the car and took it in to throw away. Then we decide to go for sushi across the street. We come home, open the door, and see trash strewn everywhere. Now, I live with a beagle. But I had forgotten that in that bag of trash, there was half a subway sandwich. A meatball sub with extrea cheese and mayo. Which the beagle had found and eaten. Oops. So the beagle was kicked and banished for the night - but in retrospect, it is kinda impressive. I mean, the sandwich was bigger than her head...
