On Sunday I had one of my finest hours..
Went to see the DJ Format, in Sleazy's., a very small venue for such a big deal. That in itself was spot on. Then, during the gig, MC Adrenalin impressed the crowd by talking a deep breath and rapping for eight bars (slow bars at that) without taking another breath. Most impressive. But, then, in a bit of crowd participation, he asks if anyone in the room reckons they could down a pint of beer quicker than he could batter out the same rap, this time going as quick as he could. I said I could. And I did.
T'was my moment in the sun, my little dose of the spotlight.
That said, it probably took me all of five seconds...so if Mr Warhol was right, I have ten left.
