Well I do have a fresh real crime story for you (wish I hadn’t).
This happened at first day of Mercury Retrograde this summer. In June I made a nose plastic surgery (dreams come true 🌈) and went to Russia for the rehabilitation time (I left Russia in spring 2022 because of the war).
In my hometown, Smolensk, I have friends who are running a phone and computer repair shop. I always ask them to fix something if I need and they do it for free. This summer I took my laptop with me. The battery and the wi-fi adapter needed replacement. I ordered the necessary details and my friend took the laptop to the service centre.
In the morning August 25th I woke up to discover dozens of missed calls from my friend and a message KSEW ANSWER ASAP!!! WE WERE ROBBED!!! YOUR LAPTOP IS STOLEN!!! 🙀
And of course I had almost all of my adult content in the laptop and all my bank accounts and there were no password 🥲
The guy who took it was a drug addict who already had 17 thefts. But with Russian laws his crimes were considered minor and while he was waiting for his courts they didn’t have a legal reason to arrest him. He has a drug addiction and he has to steal. He even didn’t took the money from the store 🤡 But he took my laptop and all the broken phones 🤡
They caught him a couple days later (in fact he came himself to police). They found everything that he took but for my laptop. And what he said is very strange. He first said that he broke the laptop to pieces, then he said he sold it to a taxi driver (they checked - he was lying) and then he said that someone paid him money and gave him order to steal my laptop because of my porn that was on it (which is a lie too because no one knew where I was going to have it repaired). And he said he never met before the person who gave him money for my laptop and that it was a girl 🤡
I was (and am still) in such shock that such crazy thing could happen to me. 1.5 months have passed and my laptop has still not been found (and I don’t even hope anymore). The last news was this: after my laptop they finally gave him home arrest but he ran away with a bracelet on his foot and stole two sausages from a supermarket 🤡
So that’s an absolutely ridiculous crime story but the sad part is that this was a really very expensive gamer laptop and that a lot of my content that I need for work is lost forever 💔 On top of that this happened when I was rehabilitating after a plastic surgery and was not able to work and also spent most of my savings. Now I urgently need a new laptop and I am working literally 24/7 to do it 🥺
