It came! My bed came, and it's gorgeous, and even though we ordered it way back in may, it's totally with the wait.
My step kids are here for the weekend, even though dad is gone, and Katie and I went to build a bear to build a puppy for him.
iPhone buying was not successful though, by the time I convinced her to wait in line they were out *sigh* oh well, I can try again or just wait til my preorder ships in a couple of weeks. Can I be a little kid for a moment? "But moooooomm! Everyone else has the new toy, I need one too!" Okay, done now smile
And finally, rather than going to the theatre to see Finding Nemo in 3d, we came back to watch it on the comfort of our own couches in our pjs and with jello. Win!

That's a sleek bed!!! So cool. We ordered a bed from the Heirloom Bed Company as a present for our 23td wedding anniversary back in 2001 and it took 3 months to get it. But like you, it was worth the wait. I'm sure it will get plenty of use!!! wink

Well thank you! We got it from Restoration Hardware.. It was supposed to come just in time for us to get back from our honeymoon, but apparently they made the side rails in the wrong color, and because everything is custom made, they had to redo the whole thing. So it took FOREVER! In my opinion, if everything is custom made, then custom make me up some side rails that match and call it a day! (However I do understand that the dye lots on the fabric would probably have been off then, but still). Unforunately for the use, hubby pie is in Zurich until mid December, so it's up to me to break it in until then biggrin
