It's about time I updated. I have been busy going to work all week. Not much to be said about that, except I acquired free books thanks to my earned book tokens and squirreled through the advanced reader stacks in the break room...mmm...new books not yet released...aren't you all jealous?
I finally finished that book THE BROKEN CROWN that I was reading for ages... that just took too long. My review is the one written by karusichan, to give you an idea of what I thought about it. I started reading THE PASSION OF ARTEMISIA immeadiately afterwards... I needed something good and light, and that certainly fits the bill, I have been reading it for three days and I am only 40 pages left to completing it. It's quite good. Now I'm debating what to read next...some ARB or Mercedes lackey... hmmmm.... books not on the shelves yet or something that has been sitting in my house for ages.... hmmm...
I went to Sharon's the other night. That was a mother of a party. It was Timmy's birthday/bon voyage party, so there were tons of people there. Katya came up for it, we had a blast. She's supposed to be coming up again to paint in a few days...yay. Sharon didn't kiss me though, she said our relationship was now professional and she couldn't do that anymore... I think it was because Tommy freaked out about it the first time, but she won't admit to it...annoying... now I have to wait until they break up to see her again... irritating. Oh well, bigger fish to fry, I suppose.
Well, I must be off. But, I think a book vote is in order. It's been a while since we did that. hee hee.
Vote for which one I should read next.
1. "Storm's Warning" by Mercedes Lackey I love this author, but this trilogy has been sitting on my shelves for years now... I should get to reading it, I know I'll love it.
2. "Viriconium" by M. John Harrison. an advanced reader copy I came across at work...due out in late october.
3. "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini. The sequel just came out to this, so they are both hot right now... I bought the first one last night on my credit so I could see what all the fuss is about.
Gyah... I'm so torn... why oh why can't I read at work, for fuck's sake! That would streamline this whole process nicely.
