Well, I shouldn't jinx it, but I just came from a job interview that went very well. I think I am going to get it, I hope so. I need to suppliment my income from my slow art sales... yeah, it's not going as well as I would like, as has become obvious from my trying to get all of you to buy suddenly. 
I hope I get this job though, I really need the money, and to get out of the house more.
I went to a sewing circle last night... there was no actual sewing involved. Just alot of drinking and shooting the breeze with people I don't hang out with much, which was good. My friend John made me a mean Gin and Tonic. I don't know that I like gin very much though. I actually was the only one to get any work done, I took printmaking supplies and started a print of the lovely cincity while I was there. Everyone was digging it, I'll put some photos up just as soon as I get them inked and all that... now I have to get pink ink...or white to make pink... curse you for having pink and black as your favourite colours... yeah you!!
I saw the movie "The Island" yesterday too. It was decent, conceptual, until the actiony bits became redundant. Overall, not horrible, but I was a bit bored in the last 3/4 of the movie. That Scarlet though...*drool*... and I don't tend to like blondes... good thing she's a red head...mmm... redheads.
I have lots of new SG friends now... odd thing I noticed. Keep 'em coming, I always love new people to chat with. Anyone who wants to IM, contact me and I'll give out my yahoo IM info. I'm usually about, sadly, and can chat for a bit with most anyone, and love doing it.
I'm still reading "The Broken Crown" by Michelle West. It's good, a bit prosey, but good. It's not light though, you can't just sit down and become absorbed in it yet...that's what happens when you read 800+ page fantasy books though.
Yeah, I better get that job. I have to. Only way I won't is if someone was way more qualified than I. She kept drawing stars on the notes she was taking...that's a good sign, I hope.
