first things first...
"We Just Eat Dog Food"
Exhibition at Traffic Jam and Snug. This Exhibition will feature the work of myself and also of Lansing artist Aaron Curtner, one of my closest friends. Works will include 30 original watercolours, collages, acrylics, and drawings and will be up from July 13th through the month of August. All works will be for sale, and there will be many affordable choices from the both of us. I am putting in original drawings that I cannot imagine I will price high, so everyone come down to check it out.
Second: I have new art for sale in my "Art for Sale" Folder... yay.
"Portal 2"
"Portal 3"
"Eidolon 2"
"Eidolon 3"
"Eidolon 5"
I still have some work available in that folder, but I will warn you that "Paramour" is pending a possible sale right now, so until I hear about that one it's not up for grabs. I also have the one inch buttons for sale, but I do have more designs now, so I am going to have to get those up. Anyone who is interested in purchasing anything, get in touch with me and offer me something for the work. Don't feel bad if you feel you are being too cheap or too exorbitant, I'll tell you if your offer is too little or too much, in the nicest way I can, of course.
Just remember, I will also ask you to cover shipping, so we would have to figure that out as well.
For a bit of info about Old Town...
I will be at the Lansing Michigan Old Town art market this Saturday, the 9th, selling my work on the sidewalks with everybody else. There will be bands and plays going on also. I am going to try to set up on Turner Street. I'll have a table, do come out.
Oh, and on the subject of pimping people's work out, there was an article in this weeks Noise (Lansing paper) about
Berry, a friend of mine and participant in the Chatte Rouge show who has her own fashion line. If anyone wants to get in touch with her on myspace her link is here. Or if anyone wants to check out her ebay store the link is here. And if anyone wants to check out her website the link is here. Just tell her I sent you.
Buy some stuff from her, she's my buddy, and her clothes are great!
...too bad that noise article didn't have the other photo in it... you could have seen a woman that I kissed one drunken evening... whoops... (And no no no, it was NOT Berry) *giggles*

Ok, that's enough business for today. Onto pleasure. I went out with Dorothy last night to the lesbian bar... there was no one there, I am not kidding. We ended up going to another place to listen to music and play pool, was fun, she's a terrible pool player. I am not the greatest (especially a little in the bag) but I did play on my dad's table growing up so I was making some shots.
And I am reading Neverwhere. It's good, thus far. I like Gaiman alot. Thanks to Kiyone and another non-SG friend of mine for recommending him to me. Good stuff.
