Well, what's up lately... The other night I went out for a coffee date... it wasn't that fun, I was coerced into a dinner date against my will. She was ok, but there was no spark there, and she never opened up to me, and I don't like illusive people, not at all. I wasn't physically attracted to her either, which, had I been, I might have been able to ignore the fact that she was sompletely closed off from me. Oh well, I might hang out with her again on a friendly level, but I wouldn't see her on a romantic one. That's the way it goes though, you win some, you lose some.
A friend of mine got me a duo show in Detroit with him. That will work, I don't have any of the details at the moment, I just found out about this last night on a druken phone conversation with him. When I discover more I will of course update the world here.
Things are settling down here, in a manner of speaking, though I am worried about Trevor. He seems a bit lost. Kim hasn't called him for almost two weeks, and he was a tad distressed about that for a while, and now this other girl he hung out at the bar with hasn't called him back either... bad form. Poor guy. I'm worried about his drinking too, it's too much so suddenly. Oh well, I suppose. It's his perrogative to fuck up his life now, not my business any longer, but I still care about him, so of course I worry. He says he's more worried about me, with how I have been lately, but overall I am fine, a bit lonely, but fine. Sometimes.

I have a penchant for Sci-fi Fantasy, as many of you know, but beyond that I have several good sounding books on my shelves. Cast your vote to tell me which one/series I should start reading.
1. Michelle West- "The Broken Crown". The Sun Sword volume one.
2. Sara Douglass- "The Wayfarer Redemption".
3. Tanya Huff- "Sing the Four Quarters".
4. China Mieville- "Perdido Street Station".
5. Neil Gaiman- "Neverwhere".
Thanks all for voting.
