Hello Everyone,

I am organizing an exhibition for any female artists, photographers, and visual media artists for June in Old Town Lansing, Michigan. The show will be held next door to Spiderhouse Market and Antiques the weekend of "Be a Tourist in your own town" (June 4th). This is a great oppurtunity for everyone to show their work in Old Town, as that weekend is one of the busiest traffic times in Old Town. Spider will also be a passport location, so this will generate more potential customers.

I will display all types of work, does not matter if it is framed. Sales will be encouraged, and there will be a commission taken from any sales. (20% has been agreed upon at this time. Whether that will stay or not is up to Spider.) The exhibition will go up the week of June 1st and be up for a period of time with daily hours so that we can try to make as many sales as possible. I will be sure to update everyone as I finalize the details.

I need everyone who is interested to email me as soon as possible. The amount of work I will be able to display will be determined by how many artists end up submitting. If anyone wants to help me organize and activity in the space (Poetry, music, etc.) please contact me as soon as possible. And spread the word to any other female artists that you know of. All skill levels are welcome.
