Everyone, go say happy birthday to minibeanie and tell her I sent you. She's a hottie and deserves the love
Man, I have been a busy girl. My ass has been in the studio for three days, where it should be. I have been working on more studies so that I can produce a larger version of this series. I have 14 different studies now. I have to cull it to 6 or 7 larger 22" by 30" paintings... I'm all aglow, you have no idea how it feels to be productive and not only to be productive but to be doing something of high quality. It's very sensual, orgasmic really. I don't know why, but whenever I produce a successful painting or series I become so aroused.
I really need to acquire a beautiful woman to enjoy the after effect with, it goes to waste too...too...far too often, even with the gent here. He's not as welcome to the after effects as he used to be...
Anyone wish to apply for the job? I'll make it worth your while. *bats eyelashes*
Oh, my group is no more, if anyone cares. No one chatted in the female artists group for a month, myself included (bad Krys) so it's been terminated. Ironically, I found out because I was going there to enter 3 or 4 new posts that were on the brain. Oh well, it happens.
Movies, movies abound. I have been watching all sorts of different ones lately. I have a predeliction for old movies, as I have mentioned before. Black and white films...oooh...glorious. Recently I watched "Now Voyager" with Bette Davis, which was very cute...but they kept playing this one damn song over and over again in the background in violins, and although I love that about old movies it's annoying to have the song "Wouldn't it be wrong to kiss" in your head for days at a time.
Another old film I saw was "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" which was silly and cute. I liked the main actress in it, she was very pretty. (I admit it, I have a penchant for smouldering brunettes. It's wolfbane to me. ha ha) What else have I seen? Oh, last night I watched "carrington" with my gent, and we laughed hysterically. There is this character in that who is an author and he had the best one liners and his humour was so effused with sarcasm and dry wit he was cracking us up every scene. I swear, take away the fact that the character liked to bugger men and boys, and that is what my gent is going to be like in 30 years... if he lives that long, he has bad health issues too.
That movie was good though, I recommend for anyone who likes those kind of films.
Loving life today, even with sinus ick. Like I said, painting makes me happy. It's the one passion that really does it for me, everything else is meaningless. Painting is a hard task mistress, and a cruel lover, but a generous lover too. I can't go without it, it's the only thing I ever want to do. Even writing never gave me this much pleasure.
Oh gods, I waxed sentimental... I'm going now.
1. What's your passion? Whatever it is that excites and drives you? I'm all ears.
2. did you go wish minibeanie a happy day? She's a hot lady, go to it!
3. Any types of films or shows you are fond of?
