about the time when I was standing in a tiny kitchen with intellectual men drinking herbal tea and discussing the film Calligula did I truly realize my error. The rest of the crew was a bunch of drunken college boys. Well, there were a few women present, but they don't count. D... who I can't entertain feelings for because she is my friend's significant other, J... whom I can't stand and who can't stand me, and is married/ dating??? someone else I know... I, who is J's daughter/stedaughter and is only 7... M, who is married... and E... who is aaron's sister, and though she was drunk and slobering all over me when I left that is not good karma to hit on a friend's sibling... and I am not into her anywho... That was the sum total of estrogen milling about... the rest were all men. Meh, should have gone to the benefit. My bad.
I need to schedule a meeting with a guy who wants to show my work in Ann Arbor... I need to get an idea of the space, what he wants from me, etc. etc. etc. At least I get to hang out down there for a bit. Always good, too bad the women who works at the other gallery won't be around. Me and my one track mind.
I also should be putting together a submission for another place I am considering. I'll get around to it. I will. Promise.

Yes, there will be more stuff attempted to be sold soon. we cleaned out one of our storage areas, and suffice it to say, things must be gotten rid of. Wheee... housecleaning.
Man, I can't believe I am only 400 pages into Shogun. I have been reading it for 3 weeks now, and I am only 1/3 of the way through the damn book. It's good, but it's so strange to be reading something this long again. It feels like I am not getting anywhere. Afterwards I plan on going into a comatose state watching the movie... *ahem* "miniseries", at a healthy 10 hours in length... wheee... grandeur!
