Weeeee... I finally can stop fighting with my insurance company about that damned accident two months prior. And I managed to not wring my adjustor's neck. all hail self-restraint.
Other than that? Fairly mellow today. I tried to hunt down my friend dorothy, with no success. Drat, going to have to go to her apartment and bang on her door gestapo style. seems to work well.
While visiting her work (my coffee house) I sat and cracked James Clavell's "Shogun" today...mmmm... japanese historical fictions....drool... mmmm... 1200+ page books...drool... Now you see why it has been sitting on my shelves forever. But it's good, I like it... all descriptive and fun. I love reading and studying medieval and feudal Japan though. All things japanese culture also. Random fact about me, for a year and a half I studied japanese woodblocks and tried to emulate it in my art as much as possible, in intaglio printmaking though. I have several very eastern prints I did at the time. All geisha girls and japanese interiors. Very fun, I enjoyed it. But moved on, obviously. Still love the prints though, especially the naughty fun ones (that were made at the time, not any I did, perverts )
2 months until my LA debut... fuck... I'm glad they had an opening that soon, 6 months down the road would have ben torture. But, yeah, still excited. Still glowing and flittering around like a happy school girl... you have no idea what this means to me. But yeah... glowy...

2. My weird speech patterns... like saying the same word twice and talking to myself... and quoting anime like it's going out of style.. yeah, weirds people out.
3. My cat only has 6 or so teeth, all in the front, and because of that she constantly throws up. It's because she wolfs her food, and doesn't chew it, swallows it whole. And she also has a scar on her upper lip which lifts her lip a tad. It's so cute.
