Today was strange, I traveled all about the better part of Lansing, East Lansing, and Okemos with my gent searching for a book he needed for one of his classes. Irritating, ordinarily I love roaming about bookstores, but several in one day...waiting for him to stop hunting, was excruciating. Oh well... found several new additions to my wishlist... weeee...

On the trek today I picked up the Dresden Dolls cd....weee... new music rocks my pants off. I realized too that it was the first cd I have purchased in over a year... heh, we're so non-prioritizing when it comes to our cd collection. It happens when you don't download or listen to radio or anything, I usually come by new music by means of friends intro-ing me.
If anybody wants to make me mixed cds, that would rock. I will send you a piece of art, or something.
Also... if anyone can name the punk band who covered the song "I touch myself" a few years back... I would love you forever... I want to say it was the tumours... or something punky like that... yes, I do mean "I don't want anybody else, when I think about you I touch myself..." the cover was better than the original, all punky and screamy... Or maybe I just miss hanging out with Mike in his basement, playing video games... could be, it's been years... ah Mike...
So... LA opening... yeah, I'm still vacillating. I really would like to go. It would be better if I went, even if I flew out for the night and flew back the next day...it's always better to be able to be there physically, discussing, making contacts, and such. It was suggested to me (by the gent) that I attend on my own... with a gorgeous lady on my arm. You know, someone I can make a spectacle of myself with, someone I can fondle and throw up against the wall in passionate, fervant kisses...I have already outed myself with my artist statement, so yeah... I guess I need to start perpetuating some myths for the historians to debate over, or something... but yeah... would anyone like to be my date if I come? I promise to make it worth your while 
Another thought was that I stroll in with one scintillating beauty on my arm... only to be greeted by another ravishing lass who screams at me, slaps me (or throws a wine glass in my face ala Barry Lyndon style...mmm, bloody face *grins*)... then storms out....
hehehheeheheh... you folks really don't know what you are missing having daily access to Trevor's mad genious I love having him make me laugh all day long.
