Snow, snow, snow... and yet more snow!
It's been snowing here since this morning, and it's sticking unfortunately.
Ordinarily I would not care, but I do have to drive 50 minutes to my parents house tomorrow to gorge myself on turkey and goodies and celebrate the fact that we stole this land from the good native people and commited atrocious acts of genocide and general bad behaviour to their people.
But I did bake two pies to celebrate the occasion, from scratch, not pre-made pie fillings or crusts...I guess that makes me just as much a part of the problem.
Well, at least if we get snowed in tomorrow we have pumpkin and apple pies to eat. Good thing to, we don't have much else here. My partner was going to make an impromptu quiche with the remainder of the crust we had, but we didn't have any milk, so the crust went into the trash.... pout... and now we have no quiche to eat.
Oh well.... would have been nice to have quiche on a snowed in night, but, it happens.
In other news, the deviant art work seems well received, even though I don't have a print account yet, still deciding if I want to do it or not. What do you think?
