wow, thanks guys for expressing concern. I should really not update and say negative things. It's true, I'm in a funk, and things have been weird lately, but I am trying to get myself together.

One thing is that in a few months I have to find a new place to live, and I am trying to decide if I want to go back to school or not... I really dont, but my family has made the offer to cover tuition so I can complete art school, and I should probably take them up on it, though I loathe the politics involved in actually being an art student.

Another is that I still live with my ex, which causes all sorts of grief and misery and confused feelings, as we all know. Yeah, especially now that my ex has a new girlfriend that gets paraded about in front of me... makes me feel all sorts of fuzzy happiness.

On the other hand work at the book store is grand. I rather like it, even though it has been holiday retail hell lately. I just like getting to talk about books to people all day long, especially my coworkers, who I love dearly. They are all such interesting people, and that makes the environment so good.

Besides that there's the recent uncomfortableness I talked about in the GGO group recently with one of my friends. I believe that will pass over soon, but it doesn't make for a happy social life at the moment...this town's too small to avoid talking to people who have heard all about it... grrr... suddenly I am branded as a predator and that is irritating, even if everyone knows how much of a tease this particular girl is.

But I digress, I don't feel like talking about that situation anymore.

I went and saw a bunch of movies recently... "Walk the Line", "Pride and Prejudice"... and of course the Narnia movie....oooohh.... some of my favorite books ever... and Tilda was absolutely the perfect choice for Jadis, the white witch... I do hope the rest of them get made, they deserve the attention and treatment... and I know I'll see them. I plan on seeing it again with a couple of different people, so yeah, I'm sure I'll be in the theatre again by the end of the week seeing it again.

I'm also reading "Memoirs of a Geisha"...and yes it's because the film is coming out. In my defense it has been sitting on my shelf for 5 years or so... It's so hard not to get caught up in that fervor of a film coming out that's been adapted from a book now that I work in a bookstore. And I needed a page turner, which I am glad to say it is... I am also reading "Perdido Street Station", which is quite good as well. Makes me all sorts of happy.

Gyah, there are so many good sounding books out there, and I have so little time to read them, it's irritating really. I feel like that guy in the twilight zone episode.

Well, I've been seized by a severe sneezing attack, so I must close this up and take care of myself. I promise I will try to update more often, so you all should keep coming back around and give me some loveys... I could use it.
