I'm still alive, but I guess it's about time for my weekly update...seeing as how that's about how often I get around to these parts anymore. Whoops, my bad. 
Days off are lovely aren't they, especially when it's days off without interruptions from house dwelling drunks...always makes my life happier. I can't handle people going on 4 day benders, drinking more than I can consume in 2 months in that short allotment of time...it's nuts... I am so glad to be rid of it for a while. yay. bliss.
I tried to do something productive yesterday and today, but that was futile. I have a show to hang in 9 day's time that I am all ready for, so yeah... there's going to be my art on the wall in East Lansing soon...all you lansing/east lansing/okemos people come out and play. It's on the 18th at scene Metrospace, yeah. Sounds fun.
I started reading "Written on the body" by Jeanette Winterson today...mmm... lovely. I have a hard time keeping my head on serious books lately, not that it's not serious, but for example I tried to read Thomas Hardy's "The Trumpet-Major" yesterday and I could just not keep my attention on it. I think life is creeping into my escapism too much, and I actually need light page turning material in order to block it all out...any suggestions? Really, any at all, I'm dying here.
