I've barely been online lately, which is a good thing but also kind of sucks.

School started last Monday. I have a couple grades from one class but otherwise I don't know how I'm doing. The grades in the one class are two A's and a C. I'm definately not used to an 80% being a C yet.
I wish I'd known that I could take the Vet Med Term class online because that's the one at 7:30 am. She doesn't take attendance but she also doesn't notify us as to when our tests and quizzes are.
I should really be writing something for my Communication Skills class but it's such a stupid assignment I'd rather occupy myself with stuff like this. I'm supposed to write something about a favorite place of mine. When he told us the assignment I was just kind of like "...what? wtf?" I have nothing to write about. I don't have any oh-so-special places and I don't want any. It's fine for other people to do it but I'm not going to let myself get attached to some stupid location. So I guess I'll just have to pull something out of my ass about gradma's cookies or gradpa's farm or something equally cliche. Or maybe I could write about this wonderful place I went to when I tripped on acid (I'd be making that up, too, but at least it'd be somewhat amusing to write.)
My Principles of Animal Biology book doesn't have an index. Who the hell makes a book and doesn't include an index?
One thing I already hate about school is the busses. I get out of school at 1:20 or 3:20. The busses come at 1:17 and 3:17, which means I have to sit around an extra half hour every day. It's a complete waste of time - did no one have any foresight when they were routing the busses??

Good news: my tongue piercing is feeling great. I'm going in later this week to get the barbell downsized because the swelling's pretty much gone.

The other day Ben T, one of the Glass Nickel drivers, was giving me a ride home in the grease car (the car that runs on filtered french fry grease). It was a long run because he was taking a whole bunch of orders that were on the outskirts of our delivery area but still not together and we ended up talking about pet food and it sucking. I was telling him about all the nasty shit in pet food (especially the stuff you buy at the supermarket) and mentioned I feed some of my pets raw and he was really interested in it so I brought in a bunch of the handouts I'd written on commercial pet food and raw food. He read them and apparently really liked them - he said they were really well written and he's been going around and showing them to everyone. He's been feeding his cats Friskies or something of the sort and before we really started talking about pet food mentioned that his vet always told him he should feed something that's human grade. The problem? The vet never explained to him what human grade is, or for that matter what feed grade is. So yeah now I'm going to bring him a bunch of cat food samples and maybe some frozen chicks or pre-made raw or something.

I also just got an e-mail from Rob at Cat's Meow asking if I'm still interested in a job there because he needs someone to work part-time. I hope everything works out with the bus system and whatnot and I *really* hope I'm able to work at both Glass Nickel and Cat's Meow. That'd rock.

Well concerning your communication assignment.

Why not write about a situation you like rather than a place.

For me I always loved walking from my sisters house to home along this big main road at night. There were no houses and a forest to the left. I used to scream my head off and noone could hear me, yet cars were zooming past all the time. It was a good pressure release.

Other things like that are like walking through a crowded city where you can be totally annonomous yet be amongst 1000`s of people.

I imagine the teacher will be impressed by the difference of your essay compared to ` when I was six we went up a mountain and the view was really nice`

Anyway hats of to a fellow smoker wink and nice pins (rhyming slang for legs).

Keep well, keep smokin
