I ended up leaving the SG party pretty early last night (1:45?). I spent most of my time there trying to get Matt (aka Beaux) to drink more in hopes that if he got drunk he wouldn't go home at midnight as he had planned. After we left the party, we went to my house and went downstairs. We messed around on the futon for a while...then at 2:30 I get up and see the back of my mother as she goes into the laundry room (luckily by this time we were both clothed again). I was still fairly fucked up from the alcohol and it freaked me out just a little, especially because I didn't know if it was a hallucination or if it was real. I just sat back down on the futon and mouthed to Matt as loud as I could that my mom was in the basement, too. Matt asked what we should do and I grabbed his jacket and we quickly went up the stairs. I ushered Matt out the back door and went to my room where I closed the door and tried to hide. I determined that it wasn't a hallucination and then started wondering how long my mom had been down there (afterall, I didn't hear her coming down the stairs). From what I've pieced together, Buddy threw up at 2:30 and my mom went downstairs to get some rags to clean it up. She realized we were both down there but since we weren't having sex when she came down she just ignored us and went about her buisness. I'm still kind of weirded out though, and I'm adding this as a big reason to move out. I mean yeah free room and board is quite nice and I can't afford to move out right now, but situations like that make it really sucky to live at home.

So yeah, I ended up working an 8 hour shift today starting at 11 (early for me, especially since I'd drank a lot the night before). I made $23 in tips and if Tanya gives me that $10 she promised me for taking her shift then working today will really have been worth it. In retrospect I do feel bad for making Matt stay up so long (I know he didn't get home any earlier than 3 or 3:15 and he had to be up at 5:45 to race).
