I Knew The Elastic Lady: Tales of the Weekend.
To start off, I should be studying, since I have a final in French tomorrow. I will perhaps after a good ol' update.
The weekend was pretty good. I started it off with nothing to do on friday until the evening. I got my hair did (I'd take a picture now and show you all, but, it's wet and I don't feel like it), now its not really red. Blonde streaks, and it's darker. Hopefully the color will last.
Also, hung out with Toothpick at the Union Square B&N for the Harry Potter Party. It was fun, but, also packed full of kids and teenage girls dressed as slutty Hogwarts students, plus, being number 609 during the book call for peopler who resurved a copy, Toothpick became very understanding when I decided that leaving was in my future. For that, I'm greatful, as well as needing to make it up to her.
Here however, is the book I then went back and got Saturday, with the Rubber Bracelet they give as proof that Harry Potter fans are crazy, AND Wonder Woman protecting my book from danger and peril.
Oh, I also think I was in some news paper, but considering I don't read the news much, I don't know. News Daily, or something.
Saturday also was spent in Brooklyn. My big brotha and I spent the day on the board walk in Coney Island. We were, of course, there for the Siren Music Festival, but, after one band with some shitty songs, and a thousand hipsters later, we decided the boardwalk was more fun. We then went over to the Cyclones Baseball park, and met up with Girlie the great, as well as some of NBK66's friends from off the site. After the game, at the Freak show, (since we went there after) I was greeted by the site of an old school mate, who, now swallows swords and is known as the "Elastic Lady"; coolest thing ever. And it makes total sense cos we used to get her to bend around in her seat during class.
I also got to meet the very sweet Orali, and her main squeeze Take42. Both, very nice people.
Yesterday was just me getting hom from Brooklyn, reading rather than studying, and then going to Cosi with Yessica Feinass for a good, but expensive dessert that wasn't worth it. However, I should have known better, its Cosi, and they suck.
Once again though, from yesterday, a picture of the_shine to just say once again, Oh man, hottest dude ever.
