Yo, Monday, for serious, stop being the beginning of the week.
The weekend was pretty alright, I must say. I hung out on Thursday and Friday night with Chitin. He's a good guy, especially because he's completely understanding when I'm specifically in the need for a certain food, friday's was:
these little golden fried sticks of joy.
Saturday was like some sort of twisted NadzOfSteel day. He and I went to the Yankees game, which was not rained out, and, watched the Yanks pulverize Toronto (Trrronto) into a fine tomato paste.
Later on, when I went to slobberknocking, (and MIND YOU PEOPLE, seriously, SLOBBERKNOCKING IS EVERY SATURDAY SO JUST COME, JUST. GO. C'MON) he and I ended up getting burgers at some place that was good, and then I ended my day. One thing to refelct on my Nadz day is, there was a lot of eating food, particularly meat (that wasn't dirty sounding at all goddamnit).
At Slobberknocking, I also got to see some of my favorite people, including my one and only Wifie, and soul mate Irina, hung out with Skryche, and the wonderfully photogenic vyeseleph. I was also really happy to see my nomadic friend BoxOfficePoison, since lately I so seldom do, as well as RxQueen who was brought back from the gray, and back on SG, which is a grand thing, fo' realz. Also bonded with whosyourlibra about curly hair makeoverage and the PSW group. I did not however see SuperNintendo which, honestly was kinda uncool, cos I was hoping he'd show up so I could make out with him, (and NOT the usual Krrn is drunk so she'll make out with ANYONE kind
).
Yesterday after waking up at 10, which was way too early (my roommate goes to church and must keep her alarm on all the time) I lazed around for a good bit, until about 3, when I finally made it out of the house to go grocery shopping and get my dad his birthday present (May 6th, oh CRAP). I decided to get him the new Gwen Stefani album, since I refuse to buy it for myself, and he's been asking me to make him a copy of it for a while, (Me= HUUUUUUUGE NO DOUBT FAN! I even had the feathered hair she did in 2000-- I would have colored it pink if my parents weren't so damn strict about my fucking appearance-- anyway now she's all sold out and shit and it's not COOL and it makes me sad!).
Hopefully he'll like it, but I'm almost sure he won't (becuase it's NG all over the place and Gwen needs to get back to her roots! Also my dad is just not the kind of guy who likes silly bad dance music)-- so I decided to make him more cd's. A copy of the new Garbage (which I must say I enjoy!), a new copy of the Bravery because apparently his is all weird, and a copy of Ash's "Meltdown" since I can. My dad is awesome, but probably couldn't beat your dad since he might hurt himself.
Today I realized my 4 o'clock class is cancelled, which is awesome in every way possible, even if I DID read for it last night. Just means I can catch up. aaaaa-wwoooo.
