Soooo, my weekend was alright, it picked up quite wonderfully by saturday night and sunday was a wonderful mix of many things.
Firstly, I'm skipping my first class; maybe second, still debating, BUT I am going to go to my last class, even if he teaches the one I'm skipping, right now.
Why Might you ask?
Because I was dead tired from seeing
The Bravery
I wanna do all of them, except the dummer and the key board player. The other three just don't know.
I'm not a groupie, I'm a BAND-AID
I just gotta say, thanks NadzOfSteel for taking me, going and getting me a beer, and driving me to the Canal Street A train- that's friendship.
Plus, if it weren't for him, I would have walked past the lead singer of the band who went on before the Bravery (I won't say opener because they played a longer set than The Bravery) Ash (SG just so happens to have an interview with the guitarist today, who's fucking awesome). I shook his hand though, and he was all Irish and said "Nice to meet you" and that was awesome-- I smiled and looked like an idiot, but hell who cares?
Earlier sunday, I went to the International Beauty Show with our beloved Canadian Fire Cracker, Girlie. She is, of course, there for Devachan, where they're teaching people how all the other booths where people are using straightening irons on wonderful curls (the models were actually getting their hair straightened at least 5 TIMES) are idiots who are hellbent on making sure they have horribly damaged hair.
I saw a lot of that, so I didn't really buy anything. Just some nail polish. The Elle booth also decided since the credit card swiping machine didn't work, they'd keep trying with my debit card in there. Therefore when I got my card back, and didn't notice til I went to Starbucks for a coffee run, the magnetic part still works, but right above it, they went right over my card so there's a nice dent. Brilliant!
Meh, I'll get a new one today, or tomorrow.
I also went to Girlie's on Saturday night, where we got stoned, ate sushi
, as well as Canadian chocolate goodness.
The weekend was good. Now I should read, considering I'm cutting class, and may leave for my next one in an hour and a half.
