Persimmons Are Not What You Think.
I was completely misguided into thinking I could just bite into them and it'd be like a sweet sweet tomato. I was horribly wrong. I mean they're really good, but the skin made my tongue really dry. It didn't help that I was stoned.
I'm glad I tried it though. I love trying different fruits I've never tried before. But maybe next time I should learn how to eat it first.
The Weekend wasn't really too shitty, I mean, it wasn't great, but you know, what evs. The only real thing I'm sad about is I was just too fucking busy to be able to call up Barbarella during the weekend to see her. I feel like a crappy friend because of that and it will have to change immediately. At least some time this week. Someone so unbelieveably wonderful and nice is someone I need to hang out with as soon as possible.
I also didn't go to parties this weekend. I had two things lined up, (and one of which I probably wouldn't have gone to anyway) and I didn't because Sunday morning I had to wake up extremely early for a meeting at work. I got paid for it. But still. That's a day off, so it kinda blew. Work is good though, I really like the people. Now, if only I knew how to work the register!
Yesterday I couldn't fall back to sleep after said meeting. I ended up getting bagels with my buddy/roomie Laura, getting stoned, and for at least 5 hours saying "I NEED TO GO AND READ" I did eventually. so, it wasn't so bad. I need a picture of Laura, she's such a bad-ass. Plus, she too is from the Island of Staten.
The Bayonne Brige always reminded me of Scott Baio for some reason. maybe because they're both trashy or the names sound similar..... or something.
What else? Hm. Oh shit, I have to get my shit together and go to class. At least I know that SuperNintendo is a worser student than I.
