I finally got my mount! woot!
In other news, Randycat and I have been looking at a few houses. We still have a few weeks before we have to make a "for sure" decision, but some of the places we've looked at we've absolutely fallen in love with. This is a huge step--going from renting to rent-to-owning! I mean, this place we pick will eventually be *our* house. I'm finally getting my dream, finishing up my degree while being technically a "housewife" so I can spend time with my wonderful kids.
Which, by the way, my son now has 4 teeth. 4!! Two on the top and two on the bottom, which make it completely impossible for me to not laugh my ass off at him when he opens his mouth for any reason, because he is just so damned adorable with those 4 little teeth. he also is crawling now! ^^ My girl is as smart as a tack now. We actually have conversations! It's such a huge change from one year ago! Talking to Ashton is so fun, more so than i could have imagined it being, and playing dress up and barbie dolls and arts and crafts with her takes me back to my child hood, when my mom was too busy working to play with me and I didn't have a dad. I'm just so glad I can be here for my kids, and I know my mom would have been there for me, if she could've.
Speaking of my mom, it dawned on me the perfect present to get her for x-mas today. A computer! She's wanted one for years now, and for all the things she's done for me, I am forever in her debt. I think this would just be perfect for her, and she doesn't need anything fancy, just something that will hook her up to think internet so she can check her bank account and email. Im thinking of getting her a desktop, because thats what shes used to from work and stuff. I've always used HP except for my laptop which I am in love with, it's a Sony. Any suggestions?
