hey...

yeah another update today, but i 've been thinking. hmmmmm

Oh yeah, I don't know if i REALLY do have want to have a resolution for the new year. i mean you guys are right. they are just meaningless promises that are easily broken.

What I REALLY have for the new year is a wish, a want , a desire.

I want to make just one good friend this year. I mean one of my own, not one i inherit from a girlfriend. also, not a work aquaintance.

I mean the kind of friend that will keep you from drowning in the toilet when you are losing your 13th shot of tequila. Or someone who cares honestly cares when you are sick. someone who misses you when you aren't around, or thinks of you first when they want to have something to do.

I think that may be the one saddest aspect of my life. in 42 years I have made lot's of friends, but I can't keep friends.

I know it sounds extremely sappy, but the kind of friend you keep forever. even if you argue, you can always say you are sorry and mean it.

Yeah..thats what a want for the new year...that and a new tattoo. smile

wow...really! thats a lot to have for coincidence...

most people dont know much of what i am talking about when i talk about the cape...why are you in norfolk?

dont assume you bore me...i lived on the cape for 20 years and although, like any place people grow up in for that much time, i am glad to be away...i do miss it. va beach is so much different in not too many ways...its weird. i love the family owned - mom n pop - shops and restaurants on the cape where as here its really very different. you cant find breakfast on a sunday morning anywhere but IHOP or dennys. i dont like the commercialism here but i guess i am used to what is not normal through the rest of the country. sorry...i rant! biggrin
