Happy friday everyone. It's late i know. I'm watching one of my favorite movies in the world. 12 MONKEYS. Funny, i don't have it on my favorite films on my profile. I have so many favorite films that I forget them sometimes.
am i weird that I REALLY do think Bruce Willis is a great actor. Also , I think Brad Pitt is fabulous when he plays "weird" or "disturbed" characters. Like in 12 MONKEYS, and LEGENDS OF THE FALL, and even SEVEN to a point.
this was actually a double Brad Pitt night for me. I had watched OCEANS 11 earlier tonight, because I'm going to see Oceans 12 tomorrow. Believe it or not, I had never seen OCEANS 11 before. Sunday morning I'm going to see a free screening of SPANGLISH. Adam Sandler in a very rare serious role. I've heard good things about this movie, and hey...it is free.
Ok...enough fluff. now to the meat. this has been a VERY long entry, huh?
Last night I had an epiphany. I saw what I must look like to other people when I go out. Does becasue I'm getting older , mean I should stop having fun? I think the time has come for me to realize I'm 41. ok, let's be brutely honest here. i'm almost 42. I don't feel that old though, I mean...there was a time when I could party with the best. Now i guess I look a little silly though. Atleast if i am out by myself. thank goodness i was with other people last night. Like I said in my last entry, getting older is not a crime, everyone will eventually. Just have to do it with grace.
You know right now i feel the need to say something important, but I can seem to find it.
I am off center right now.....so far off center I don't know what it will take to get my smile back. I'm determined though.
I get to do something really cool next week. I get to play santa for Dogs and Cats. I know..sounds weird, but it is raising money for a good cause.
