ok i have a dilemma...

i had a friend a while back.
a really good friend.
things ended up getting a bit weird between us. and i didn't handle the situation at all well.
she went off to live in France and i didn't even say goodbye. mainly because i knew i'd hurt her a lot and in times like that i used to pretty much pretend it wasn't happening.
we'd fallen out a couple of times before, but we'd always manage to set things right after i'd admit what a dick i'd been and beg forgiveness.
i haven't spoken to her in about two years now. the last contact i had with her was an email telling me how she didn't understand how things had gotten so fucked up.
i didn't reply.

i miss her. a lot. she was pretty much my rock throughout university and we were inseperable. i have her to thank for a lot of the things that make me who i am today.

now. if you were her...would you want an email from me from out of the blue? would you care to be in contact with me again?
i know i haven't given half as much of the background as i could. but i'm really not sure how to play this.
do i contact her?
