is it wrong that i'm obsessed with clothes and hair and consuming? (in the retail sense of course. though who doesn't love a good feed eh?)

when i was younger i used to hate the idea of fashion. of following trends. (yet at the same time, like everyone who thinks like that i was face deep in grungewear - on that note, ever noticed how current emo trends are a lot like grunge, only everything's tighter? not dissing it, just noticing it.)

yet now i find myself viewing clothes as a kind of art form. that sounds terribly pretentious i know, but really.
ever found yourself fascinated by someone simply because their style is so spot on?
ever had your breath taken away by the right outfit on the right person?

maybe i'm just becoming more shallow as i get older. though i'm sure it's supposed to go the other way.
and fuck am i envious of people who can pull styles so effortlessly.

i always find myself most impressed by girls who can pull that trashy rock & roll chick look. oh yes.
