So I see this Suicidegirlsbook now...or should that be Facegirls..?
Not sure about this new activity feed malarky to be honest.
Maybe itll grow on me...
...maybe.

LAst night I went to see The Mighty Boosh and it was grand.
It wasn't the most gut bustingly funny thing I've ever seen and I think they're kinda trading off the fact that they're, y'know, The Mighty Boosh! but it was a good old time nonetheless.
Watching them perform Eels, Nanageddon, Charlie and I Did A Shit On your Mum as a full band was amazing.
They were really quite heavy and Barrat is a ripping guitarist.

In other news theknives has been away from the house visiting family and ting and the place just doesn't seem the same. She's back today though and we're gonna draw up our Christmas list for my parents and discuss whether we want an Xbox 360 from her folks...
(In a Xmas related anecdote - when I was young I used to get really confused and write Merry Christopher inside people's cards from time to time. Bless me eh?)

I'm mostly getting excited now because An Axe are playing aboard The Thekla on Sunday! I've never played on a boat before now I can see why all the American bands who play there get really excited about it.
We get to Dj our favourite tracks either side of our gig too, for two whole hours! Sweet.
We also secured use of a church crypt for recording our debut EP in.
Its the first weekend in December and it's gonna be fucking freezing and slightly spooky but it will rock.
Oh yes it will.

Glad you had fun at The Mighty Boosh show, sounds awesome.

God luck with the debut EP! A church crypt sounds a potentially good atmosphere for recording. How was the gig on the Thekla? I saw Amanda Plamer there a few weeks ago, and as a venue it's brilliant with the two tiers of audience so close to the stage.
