Well, technically, it's an apartment. We moved all of our stuff here, and it's finally starting to look like a home. I have to downgrade from having a whole apartment by myself. My unpacking is probably going to take a while due to that. We got queen beds, and they're pillowtops! I'm gonna get an eggshell top for mine. I would rather get a memory foam one, but I can't afford it. We also need a floor model air conditioner because the windows are stupid and don't work like normal windows. It is hot in here ALL the time. UGH.
Little by little, we're gonna make this house how we want it. We've written a wish list. It's going to be so satisfying crossing stuff off the list. I'm really looking forward to it. I am going to get my cat, Fluffers, back. I've got a job at a hospital, and I am really liking my life right now.
I guess I should elaborate a bit on what I'm doing with my life. I've moved into an apartment with my friend, Erica. I'm sure I've mentioned her in previous blog posts. We've both got jobs, and I feel like we're both at a very mature point in our lives. I'm really excited to start this part of our journey together. It's going to be great. We moved to Middleport. It's a cute little town by the Ohio River. It's adorable. It's not super cool that we live near the police station though. Hella nerve racking. Ew.
