Happy 2007!
Back to work tomorrow, but it was a WONDERFUL break. We had a great Christmas and New Years.
First our Christmas ROCKED. Very relaxing and unrushed. Then New Years Eve kitschy and her man, and our friend John came over for a big fancy dinner. Then we headed over to my pal Kim's to join in their party and ring in the new year. Such fun was had by all, and a late night as well!
Today we cooked a lot of food for the week, so we can just heat it up and go!
Soup and roasted chicken for the week. The required black eye peas and collar greens ( for us southerners) and also sausage and sour kraut ( adopted by our northern friends). But honestly I had a kick ass year, and can't imagine it being any better then this year has been.
I am one lucky girl. I have a man who loves me more than anything else in the world. I have a son who is so much fun to be around. He is very loving and sweet. We all have a lot of fun together.
I wish you all good heath and love this year, not to mention peace in your hearts and minds. ( hopefully one day in our world too )

Glad your first day back went well. I can't wait til I'm in the classroom, again. This semester will be the first time in 2.5 years, except for one visit to a friend's 2nd grade class. I'm so excited!!
