Ok, update time!

Tomorrow I'm going with some friends from work to a little get together somewhere. I'm going to be in a room, with people, conversing with them, on a Friday night. Woah.

The next day I'm off to another recording gig! I'll try to remember to take some pics so you have an idea as to what I've been trying to do with my life.

Not much else to report besides the fact that I'm pretty bummed out about Dimebag Darrell formerly of Pantera getting shot and killed on stage. I've never been a big fan of Pantera, but I always respected them as a band who paved their way into platinum records sales on their own terms and without ever compromizing their sound or vision. I was lucky enough to see them live on their last tour before their rather unceremonious breakup. They put on a damn good live show. I'm a firm believer that, in the words of Henry Rollins, "live is the only way to know for sure", that no band will ever be an all-round good band if they can't put on a good show live. Pantera was a band with four world class musicians who knew what they were doing and they could do it everyday on tour all around the world.
